And
in a setting that was quit and natural. I think it will be an experience I will
remember, much like the first time having weed. Can't seem to remember the
first time I was drunk though.
It
was a calm, kind, peaceful introspective moment.
I
tried to keep my expectations to a minimum. I heard so many people say they
didn’t do anything, expecting to hear and see things, or to have an almost
religious moment. Obviously, these would depend on a number for factors and most
defiantly can't be expected.
I
still find it interesting that our brains are wired to have these experiences.
What
I learned.
I
need proper hiking shoes. Shortness of breath from smoking was really annoying.
I
need a smaller tent…maybe a bigger tent.
I
must pack a box with all my camping stuff so I don’t forget anything.
Friendships
are absolutely vital, maybe even more so than family.
My life is spent, working and then recovering from work. While I have learnt much from the past there is still much more for me to learn.
The concept of Adult Children.
Physical affection is a strange thing. Having a very unaffectionate family. I think more on in a future post.
An
Idea
A small container is delivered to the campground before your arrival. The container is set up much like a caravan would be. Bed, kitchen, toilet, or any other
facilities. The container is then cleaned and collected from the campsite and
returned to storage.
Thank you to all those who have chosen to spend time with me.
